Before Your Volleyball Assessment

In order to make your first session with me as productive as possible, I have a few housekeeping items I need your help with. Completing these ahead of time will allow us to get right into the assessment & have more time for discussion immediately after.

Help me help you! By following, you increase the visibility of our program and showcase your physical skillset. Our program benefits by the algorithm now putting us in front of your friends & teammates. Seeing what we are doing can start to get them interested in joining. After all, they will be extremely interested in finding out more about your “secrets” that make you a better athlete.
You benefit because it gets you in front of current and future coaches & programs. Current coaches will see you are putting in extra work, and this makes them more confident in you. This could result in more playing time. Future coaches can see your strengths and further evaluate your potential. This could eventually lead to a starting varsity position, and / or college scholarship opportunity.

Fill Out This Form
This helps me get to know you better as an athlete, which will help me develop the best program suited to your needs. Over our time working together, I build out a comprehensive individual profile, highlighting your strengths & weaknesses, as well as your developments. This form is our starting point to this profile. It includes basic information like your name, grade, school, etc.
Then I want to know about your Club and primary positions. If you currently play multiple positions, feel free to check off as many as necessary. But, the more specific we can get, the better. So if you have a primary position that you really would like to play at the next level, choose that one. I ask about your Club, because I would like to know if I currently train your teammates, and I am always looking at which Clubs make up the majority of the athletes in the group. I also am always trying to build up my network of Club coaches, so knowing who you play for allows for a conversation starter with your coach.
Download “TeamBuildr” To Athlete’s Phone
TeamBuildr is the Athlete Management System and workout logging app we use to monitor your progress. Before your first 1:1 session (the first session after your initial assessment), please have this app downloaded on the athlete’s phone. I have run into times where athletes need to ask their parents’ permission to download an app, & if the parent is not able to be reached for whatever reason, this slows down the process of getting the athlete training. Best to just get this handled before coming in.
You do not have to create an account - we will work on that together after the warm-up during the first individual session. Just having the app downloaded is sufficient.
